Agenda

19:35 - 20:05
Designing For Emotion

Design for delight was the mantra of many teams a decade ago, but our world and the web have since changed, bubbling up a complicated range of emotions in us all. It's time to do more than delight. Let's take a more sophisticated approach to design to address the challenges of our times.

How do we design experiences that build trust with skeptics, address people's fears, and are more inclusive of those who have been left out? Aarron Walter will show you how emotional design—the intersection of design and psychology—can help you and your team design better experiences for all.

20:15 - 20:45
Cultivating Your Remote Team Culture

We’re being forced to work in new ways which is shining a bright light on our cultures and how we communicate and connect.

The technology and tools are widely available, but does our thinking and approach match these new demands for a more fluid and flexible approach?

We need to refresh our understanding of what makes teams work. In this event, Alison will cover how to build and maintain happy, engaged and thriving remote teams in times of change.

20:55 - 21:25
Software To Make Art

What would it be like if we could see our voice? How can we paint with code? Zach Lieberman writes software to make art and in this talk, he'll discuss his practice, which includes daily sketching, as well as recent explorations with AR. He will also talk about the School for Poetic Computation, a school he helped found in New York City that explores how we can make poetry with code and electronics.

21:40 - 22:15
Q&A

We’ll have Live Chat running and will collect your questions and comments for the Q&A.
